Recent reviews of this property are largely mixed, although if you do your homework and know what you are getting into (cheaper accommodations), your stay will be more pleasant. Some have complained the Ramada West was in need of upgrading, but for a well-frequented property, it seems to serve its purpose of providing affordable accommodations well.
The complimentary breakfast can get pretty busy, so if you plan on eating at the hotel, it would be best to get their early. Or, experience some of the local flavor and try out one of Flagstaff’s great local restaurants.
For the most part, the staff is courteous and willing to go the extra mile to ensure your stay is pleasant. This includes fetching extra blankets when the weather is cold or fixing the temperature control when Flagstaff experiences a warm snap.
Who is it good for?
This is an ideal property for families. It’s budget-friendly and offers all of the accommodations and amenities a family with children could need. Plus, with a “kids under 17 stay free” offer, the Ramada West is hard to pass up!
