Only a mile from the Grand Canyon, the Red Feather Lodge has all the comforts of modern living at the doorstep of your big nature get-away. There are two styles of accommodations here, hotel and motel decorated in traditional southwestern furnishings. Some rooms are pet friendly if you’re traveling with Fido, and others offer modern comforts like en suite coffee makers and hair dryers. There is an on-site restaurant although others are to be had nearby should you tire of the choices over your stay. Rooms vary in size from king singles to double suites and prices fluctuate according to season and availability. Book early to ensure a spot if you’re traveling at peak times.

What's Good and What Could be Improved.
If modern amenities are important to you; high speed internet, say, or coffee in your room, stay in the more modern hotel portion of Red Feather. Hotel stayers seemed overall happier than motel stayers but knowing what you’re buying is key to happiness. Location and convenience are the highlights here. Thin walls and expensive phone charges are not.

Who is it Good for?
The best value can be had for those traveling with others. Taking a single king room on your own can be a little pricey but certainly worth it for the proximity. The Red Feather is able to serve all who wish to visit the Grand Canyon, including those with physical restrictions.

Amenities: Single rooms to double suites and all with en suite bathrooms. Hotel style means several stories and inside, hallway access to rooms. Motel means all doors face the parking lot and are on the outside of the building. Pet friendly rooms are available. All are temperature controlled. An on-site, American fare restaurant means meals can be had without going far. Red Feather makes several types of tours available for booking on-site as well.
