What's Good and What Could be Improved.
If you go expecting what’s provided, you’re sure not to be disappointed. But if remote, out of the way places frighten you, best to stick with the South Rim and call it a day. Reviews are largely positive, particularly from those who did their research first. Service and food seem to be highlights. It’s an average room surrounded by stunning scenery and nature. Know what you’re going for.

Who is it Good for?
Jacob caters to hikers, bikers, photographers, and outdoorsmen of all kinds. It’s on the quieter side, most rooms not even offering television or internet access and therefore geared for folks looking to get away from it all. Room size does vary and you are able to book anything from a single to a double in both the Inn and outer cabins making it possible for singles, small groups and families to find what they need here.

Amenities: The big amenity at Jacob Lake is the proximity to nature and the North Rim. Rooms at Jacob Lake are basic, clean and comfortable. Many do not offer air conditioning, television or internet so be sure to ask for what you need when booking. There is a food and a gift shop on site but otherwise you’ll want to bring what you need, as there is no real town outside your door. And that’s the point!
