Grand Canyon North Rim Lodge

Located at Bright Angel Point, the North Rim Lodge offers the only accommodations inside the park at the North Rim. In 1987, the beautiful Lodge was declared a National Historic Landmark. Steps from the rim, some of the best views are just outside your doorstep and hiking, mule rides and more are all available here.

What's Good and What Could be Improved.
Come for the views, the proximity and a clean, serviceable room. Pictures of the historic façade can be misleading to those who don’t do their research. Rooms are small and basic and don’t offer five-star amenities. Service can be spotty as is often the case with locations as popular as the Grand Canyon, so put on a smile and expect to wait a bit so as not to be disappointed in your experience.

Who is it Good for?
Accommodations consist of Frontier cabins, Western and larger Pioneer cabins, and motel style rooms making it appropriate for just about everyone. But because of the availability of room styles and most being on the larger size, the North Rim Lodge is a perfect choice for families and groups.

Amenities: Split rooms floor plans and en suite bathrooms are some of the nicer amenities found here making traveling in groups or families easier. The dining facility is reputed to be one of the highlights with authentic style food and offerings appropriate for everyone including those with gluten intolerance!
